​How do I know if I should get a neuropsychological evaluation for my child?
I offer a complimentary initial phone consultation to discuss your case and what might be the best course of action. I can answer any of your questions about the assessment process and discuss any particular elements of your specific case that might influence your decision to pursue a neuropsychological evaluation.

Neuropsychological evaluations are billed at a flat fee, and there are two tiers of evaluations depending on the comprehensiveness that is anticipated to be required to accomplish the needs of the particular patient. Therapy and consultations are billed at a set rate per 50-minute session. Please contact me to discuss the fees.

I do not take insurance directly, and I am considered an out-of-network provider. I can provide patients with an itemized "superbill" upon request which can then be submitted to the insurance company. However, I cannot guarantee reimbursement for the services I provide. I also recommend that patients check with their insurance carrier in advance of the treatment process. Some carriers require "pre-approval" for both therapy and neuropsychological evaluations. I can discuss this process with you should it arise.

Do you see patients in person or virtually?
Both. I see patients who are located in the State of California virtually for therapy as long as there is no clinical reason that in-person sessions are required. Evaluations can be completed in a hybrid model, with some of the appointments taking place virtually and some taking place in person. There is a significant portion of the testing that requires in-person interaction. Air filtration and ventilation are carefully maintained in my office and I am always happy to work out other precautions as indicated by context or circumstance.

I currently see individuals in person most weekdays, and I have virtual appointments available throughout the week as well. With limited exceptions, I see children and teens first thing in the morning for assessments.
