About Me
Dr. Bryn Kahn is a Berkeley native. She graduated cum laude from Wellesley College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After college, Dr. Kahn worked as a shadow aide in both private and public schools, which informed her choice to attend graduate school for clinical psychology. During her doctoral training, Dr. Kahn completed assessment rotations on the child and adolescent inpatient units at Bellevue Hospital, in New York City, and she completed her predoctoral internship at Green Chimneys Residential Treatment Center and School, in Brewster, NY, which conducts trauma-informed, and animal-assisted therapy. In 2013, Dr. Kahn graduated from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, with a concentration in neuropsychology. She completed her two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the New York University Child Study Center. After her fellowship, Dr. Kahn moved back to the Bay Area, and, prior to launching her own private practice, she worked at Doyle Associates with esteemed colleagues Teresa Doyle and Lisa Greenberg. She has also supervised assessment at the Wright Institute in Berkeley.

Dr. Kahn has marveled while watching the process of child development unfold in real-time with her own children and she is a fiercely proud mother.
